Stay awake!

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”  Mark 14: 38

"Lord, teach us to pray as John taught his disciples."

Praise to Christ, who has given us Himself as the bread from heaven.  Let us pray to Him, saying:  Jesus, you feed and heal our souls;  come to strengthen us.

Lord, feed us at the banquet of the Holy Eucharist, - with all the gifts of Your Paschal Sacrifice.

Give us a perfect heart to receive Your Word, - that we may bring forth fruit in patience.

Make us eager to work with You in building a better world, - so that it may listen to Your Church and gospel of peace.

We confess, Lord, that we have sinned, wash us clean by Your gift of salvation.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Our Lady comes as Refuge of Holy Love. She says: "Praise be to Jesus."

"The Eternal Father sends Me to earth today with a new novena. It is a novena to pray to overcome the indifference in the heart of the world. Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one All Glory Be after each day's prayer."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, impart Your Grace upon the heart of the world. Help the heart of the world to overcome indifference as to Jesus' Real Presence in the tabernacles of the world."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, give each soul in the heart of the world the grace to recognize his responsibility towards his own salvation."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, enlighten the heart of the world as to the grave dangers of the compromise of Truth."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, reveal to all, the many abuses of authority that affect hearts, lives and the future of the world."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, help the heart of the world to overcome indifference to God's Commandments."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, help the heart of the world to recognize that Satan is real, that evil does exist and that Satan is the enemy of each soul's salvation."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, help each soul to discover the true state of his soul before God. Grant the heart of the world true discernment."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, grant the heart of the world the grace to overcome indifference as to the value of prayer and sacrifice."

"Mournful and Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus and Mary, grant the heart of the world the grace to recognize the difference between good and evil."

Healing River of the Spirit

Healing River of the Spirit, bathe the wounds that living brings.  Plunge our pain, our sin our sadness deep beneath your sacred springs.

Weary from the restless searching that has lured us from your side, we discover in your presence peace the world cannot provide.

Wellspring of the healing Spirit, stream that flows to bring release, as we gain

our selves, our senses, may our lives reflect your peace.

Grateful for the flood that heals us, may your church enact your grace.
As we meet both friend and stranger, may we see our Savior's face.

Living stream that heals the nations, make us channels of your power.
All the world is torn by conflict;  wars are raging at this hour.

Saving Spirit, move among us, guide our winding human course, till we find our way together, flowing homeward to our Source.

The Most Wounded and Mournful Heart of Jesus

Our Lady of Fatima 1917

“I want you to continue saying the Rosary every day,” she told the children on June 13. Then she gave them this new addition.

“And after each one of the mysteries, my children, I want you to pray in this way:

‘O my Jesus (God), forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Take all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need.’”

The June 13 apparition marked the first time Our Lady spoke about her Immaculate Heart.

Let’s look at her words to Lucia who she said had to stay on earth longer -

“since Jesus wishes you to make me known and loved on earth. He wishes also for you to establish devotion in the world to my Immaculate Heart.”

“I will be with you always, and my Immaculate Heart will be your comfort and the way which will lead you to God.”

On July 13th 1917

Our Lady gave the children this short prayer:

Make sacrifices for sinners, and say often, especially while making a sacrifice:

"O Jesus, this is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”

Prayer of Pope Leo XIII to St Joseph after the Holy Rosary for the month of October

To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we have recourse in our tribulation, and having implored the help of thy thrice holy Spouse, we confidently invoke thy patronage also. By that charity wherewith thou wast united to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by that fatherly affection with which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus, we beseech thee and we humbly pray, that thou wouldst look graciously upon the inheritance which Jesus Christ hath purchased by His Blood, and assist us in our needs by thy power and strength.

Most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family, protect the chosen people of Jesus Christ; keep far from us, most loving father, all blight of error and corruption: mercifully assist us from heaven, most mighty defender, in this our conflict with the powers of darkness; and, even as of old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the supreme peril of his life, so now defend God’s Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity; keep us one and all under thy continual protection, that we may be supported by thine example and thine assistance, may be enabled to lead a holy life, die a happy death and come at last to the possession of everlasting

blessedness in heaven. Amen.

Prayer of Consecration to St. Michael the Archangel

A consecration prayer essentially places your soul (and the souls of your family members) in the spiritual hands of a heavenly helper. This invokes their spiritual assistance and develops a close relationship with a particular saint.

Besides consecrating oneself to Jesus through Mary, many people throughout history have performed a consecration to God through St. Michael the Archangel. This is a special consecration that invokes his aid against all spiritual enemies. For example, shortly after Pope Francis was elected he consecrated the entire Vatican to St. Michael.

Below is an ancient consecration prayer that some sources say is connected to the shrine at Monte Gargano, one of the oldest Christian sites dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel. It is a prayer that can be used as a home consecration prayer, entrusting your entire family to the protection of the holy Archangel.

Oh most noble Prince of the Angelic Hierarchies, valorous warrior of Almighty God and zealous lover of His glory, terror of the rebellious angels, and love and delight of all the just angels, my beloved Archangel Saint Michael, desiring to be numbered among your devoted servants, I, today offer and consecrate myself to you, and place myself, my family, and all I possess under your most powerful protection.

I entreat you not to look at how little, I, as your servant have to offer, being only a wretched sinner, but to gaze, rather, with favorable eye at the heartfelt affection with which this offering is made, and remember that if from this day onward I am under your patronage, you must during all my life assist me, and procure for me the pardon of my many grievous offenses, and sins, the grace to love with all my heart my God, my dear Savior Jesus, and my Sweet Mother Mary, and to obtain for me all the help necessary to arrive to my crown of glory.

Defend me always from my spiritual enemies, particularly in the last moments of my life.

Come then, oh Glorious Prince, and succor me in my last struggle, and with your powerful weapon cast far from me into the infernal abysses that prevaricator and proud angel that one day you prostrated in the celestial battle.
